Research Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and disseminate funding opportunities to EUC faculty and researchers to support and promote research excellence.
  • Monitor funding programme conditions, restrictions and relevant legal frameworks, providing guidance to ensure compliance during proposal preparation, submission and implementation.
  • Collect, validate and submit administrative research data for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of research proposals, project contracts and agreements.
  • Maintain and update databases related to EUC research projects and proposals.
  • Coordinate seminars, workshops and related activities that promote research collaboration, capacity building and networking within EUC.
  • Prepare and contribute to internal and external reports on University research performance utilizing relevant data.
  • Collect and submit data for University ranking schemes, faculty award schemes and internal assessment processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Perform any additional duties related to research administration as assigned by the Office of the Vice Rector for Research and External Affairs.

Qualifications required:

  • Master’s degree (MA/MSc)
  • Full fluency in Greek and English languages
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience in designing, developing and editing research proposals
  • Familiarity with and experience in Research and Innovation Foundation’s and EU funding programs
