The Society for the Rule of Law, a U.S.-based nonprofit legal organization, has announced openings for its Spring/Summer 2026 Legal Internship. The opportunity is available in Washington, DC (hybrid or remote) and applications are being accepted on a rolling basis from undergraduate and graduate students interested in law, public policy, and civic institutions.
The Society for the Rule of Law is a nationwide membership organization of attorneys, law students, judges, and legal professionals focused on protecting constitutional governance and democratic institutions. The organization is led by Executive Director Gregg Nunziata, former Chief Nominations Counsel to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and includes senior legal and public policy leaders among its board and members.
Internship Overview
This internship is designed for students who want real exposure to legal research, public engagement, and policy communication work. Interns may participate remotely or attend activities in Washington, DC.

Schedule: At least two days per week during the semester

Eligibility & Skills
