This paid, full-time internship will run from June through August 2026 and offers accounting and finance students direct exposure to valuation, financial due diligence, and transaction consulting projects.

The firm is seeking motivated students who want hands-on experience analyzing real financial data and supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions.

This internship provides practical training in financial modeling, GAAP-based accounting analysis, and transaction support, while working alongside experienced professionals.

What You Will Work On

As a Due Diligence Intern, you will:

  • Assist on buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements

  • Build and link financial statements and Excel-based financial models

  • Convert large data sets into structured Excel workbooks

  • Conduct financial analysis and convert cash data to accrual-based analysis

  • Review financial records from QuickBooks and similar ERP systems

  • Apply accounting principles centered on GAAP and accrual accounting

  • Complete a case study and present findings to team leaders

  • Shadow client meetings to understand advisory relationships

You will also gain exposure to industries such as healthcare, software, manufacturing, construction, and professional services.

Who Should Apply

Boulay is looking for students who:

  • Are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred)

  • Preferably graduate in May 2026

  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Have completed coursework in corporate finance or accounting

  • Are proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Are detail-oriented and motivated to serve clients
