These internships are designed to equip European structural and cell biologists with practical expertise in state-of-the-art technologies, fostering integrative research and valuable international collaborations.
Financial Support (Funding)

Total Grant: Up to €6,000 per internship.

Monthly Cap: Maximum contribution of €1,000 per month.

About the Internship Programme
The Instruct-ERIC Internship Programme funds research visits to Instruct Centres, allowing researchers to learn techniques not available in their home laboratories. The goal is to train young researchers to integrate different technologies—not just one specialism—to advance their scientific careers.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this funded internship, applicants must:

Be an early career researcher: Pre-doctoral (PhD student) or early-stage post-doctoral fellow.

Be affiliated with a Member Country: Your home laboratory must be within an Instruct-ERIC Member country or organization.

Cross-Border Rule: Apply to an Instruct Centre/facility in a different country from your home laboratory.

Return Requirement: Must return to the home laboratory for at least six consecutive months after internship completion.

Profile: Complete the applicant profile in the ARIA system (including biography).

Proposal: Submit a research project proposal utilizing at least one Instruct-ERIC technology.
