Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Education: Must be currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school.

Year of Study: Must have completed at least two years of law classes and be considered a 3L student.

Requirement: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Internship Duration
Year-Round / Part-Time Work schedule averages 20 hours per week.
Stipend Details

Roles & Responsibilities
Interns work under the supervision of the Municipal Counselor. Duties include:

Litigation Support: Assist in Municipal Court cases (Criminal Justice division) and prepare claim files for potential litigation.

Research & Drafting: Draft legal memoranda, opinions, ordinances, proclamations, and resolutions.

Court Representation: Licensed Legal Interns may represent the City in District Court and Municipal criminal prosecution as allowed by law.

Administrative: Answer citizen inquiries and file court documents.
