TechGirls Summer 2026 is now accepting applications from young women who dream of building a future in science and technology. This fully funded international exchange program offers hands-on STEM learning, leadership training, and global exposure in the United States.

Designed for motivated girls aged 15–17, the program brings together participants from across the world to explore cutting-edge technology, connect with mentors, and create real-world impact in their communities.

About the TechGirls Program

TechGirls is an initiative funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and implemented by Legacy International. Launched in 2012, the program aims to empower young women globally by strengthening their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The Summer 2026 edition includes a three-week immersive exchange in the United States, followed by a six-month mentoring and leadership development phase. Participants engage in interactive technology camps, visit multiple U.S. cities, explore STEM careers, and later implement community-based projects in their home countries.

Since its launch, TechGirls has supported hundreds of young innovators worldwide, including more than 45 participants from Tunisia alone.
