24 Paid Internship & Traineeships Program at GiZ 2026

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, a world-leading provider of international cooperation services for sustainable development, has opened applications for its 24 Paid Internship and Traineeship Programs for 2026. Dedicated to shaping a future worth living around the world, GIZ is looking for motivated students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in global policy, environmental protection, and economic development.

The program offers highly competitive monthly stipends (ranging from approximately €2,134 to €2,349 gross)

These positions are primarily based at GIZ’s major hubs in Bonn and Berlin, Germany, with additional opportunities in regional offices across Africa, Asia, and Europe. As part of a multicultural and impact-driven team, participants will receive professional mentorship while contributing to meaningful projects commissioned by the German Federal Government and other international partners.
