Hands-on collegiate coaching opportunity — Morgan State University opens applications for Summer 2026 Strength & Conditioning Internship with mentorship and certification hours.
Morgan State University Athletics has officially opened applications for its Summer 2026 Strength and Conditioning Internship. The program invites motivated students and early-career professionals who want real experience in collegiate athletics to train and work alongside full-time university strength coaches. Selected interns will assist with varsity teams and gain practical coaching exposure in a structured learning environment.
About the Internship
This internship is designed for individuals who want to build a career in Strength & Conditioning coaching. Interns will not just observe — they will actively participate in daily athletic performance operations, athlete monitoring, and facility management.
You will work directly within a Division-I collegiate setting and learn how performance programs are planned, implemented, and evaluated for competitive athletes.
Another major benefit:
Interns may complete the required hours toward the CSCCa – SCCC certification and can also be strongly considered for a paid apprenticeship during the 2026–2027 academic year.
What You Will Do
