What Makes This Internship Valuable
Students work on real issues — hate crime monitoring, anti-bias education, advocacy campaigns, and community partnerships. Interns collaborate with staff members, attend meetings, and contribute to ongoing projects rather than observing from the sidelines.
Because ADL is a nationally recognized civil rights organization, this internship is particularly useful for students planning careers in law school, government, NGOs, policy, or advocacy work.
Application Advice
You don’t need prior internship experience to apply. ADL often values:
-
Campus leadership
-
Volunteer work
-
Writing ability
-
Interest in civil rights issues
A short, honest statement about why the mission matters to you can significantly strengthen your application.
Students interested in nonprofit careers or policy-related work should consider applying early, as multiple locations and teams are hiring and positions may fill before the closing date.
