Geneva Peacebuilding Platform announces the Geneva Peace Week Assistant Internship 2026 in Switzerland, offering a two-phase opportunity with a paid CHF 2,000/month contract for eligible candidates; apply by 16 February 2026.
The Geneva Peacebuilding Platform (GPP) has officially opened applications for the Geneva Peace Week (GPW) Assistant Internship 2026. This opportunity is designed for students and young professionals interested in peacebuilding, international relations, and global policy processes. The internship begins on 2 March 2026, with applications open until Monday, 16 February 2026.

About the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform (GPP)
Founded in 2008, the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform serves as a knowledge hub connecting more than 4,000 peacebuilding professionals worldwide. It acts as a bridge between:
-
International Geneva institutions
-
The United Nations peacebuilding architecture in New York
-
Peace actors working in conflict-affected regions
Through conferences, consultations, and outcome-focused dialogues, GPP promotes collaboration and practical solutions in the peacebuilding field.
One of its most important initiatives is Geneva Peace Week (GPW) — a major annual peace forum that brings together organizations from around the world to exchange ideas and strengthen cooperation across sectors.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Many internships offer exposure. Few offer responsibility.
At Geneva Peace Week, interns are directly involved in reviewing applications, coordinating logistics, supporting recruitment, and helping deliver one of the world’s leading peace forums. This is active participation, not observation from the sidelines.
For students aiming to work in diplomacy, international organizations, peacebuilding, or global policy, this experience can become a strong foundation for future roles.
If you meet the requirements and are eligible to work in Switzerland, this is the moment to apply.
