SGFP is designed for students who have already earned Fall 2026 admission with a financial aid offer from an SGFP-eligible university, yet cannot accept the offer without additional financial support. The program helps bridge that gap—ensuring that talent and academic merit are not limited by financial constraints.

What Is the Sousou Graduate Fellows Program (SGFP)?

SGFP is a highly selective fellowship that supports Palestinian students pursuing Master’s or PhD degrees at leading universities in the US and UK. The program provides up to two years of tuition support, focusing on students who combine academic excellence, leadership potential, and proven financial need.

Who Is SGFP For?

The program is intended for Palestinian students who:

• Have secured Fall 2026 admission to an SGFP-eligible university in the US or UK

• Received a financial aid offer, but still face a tuition funding gap

• Come from low-income or financially constrained backgrounds

• Demonstrate strong academic records and leadership qualities

• Are committed to contributing positively to Palestine and the wider global community

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Hold a Palestinian, Jerusalem, or refugee ID, or clearly demonstrate Palestinian descent

• Demonstrate financial need

• Have confirmed Fall 2026 admission and a financial aid offer from an SGFP-eligible university

• Show academic excellence and leadership potential

• Be eligible to obtain a student visa for the US or UK

What Funding Does SGFP Provide?

• Up to two years of tuition support

• Funding specifically designed to close the remaining gap after university financial aid

• Support awarded on a case-by-case basis, depending on need and available resources

SGFP does not replace university aid—it complements it, making enrollment possible where it otherwise would not be.
