Eligibility Criteria

• Age: Minimum 20 years old.

• Academic Status: Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program OR have graduated within the last 12 months with a Master’s or PhD.

• Note: Candidates with only a Bachelor’s degree (not enrolled in further studies) are not eligible.

• Languages: Excellent written and spoken English or French. Knowledge of both is a major asset.

• Skills: Strong IT skills and the ability to work in international teams.

Critical Information for Applicants

• Non-Remunerated: UNESCO internships are unpaid. There is no financial compensation or stipend provided.

• Expenses: You are responsible for all travel, visa costs, and living expenses.

• Insurance: You must provide proof of comprehensive health insurance valid in the host country for the entire duration. UNESCO only covers limited workplace accident insurance.

• Medical Fitness: A medical certificate from a qualified practitioner is required before starting.

• Duration: Internships last between 1 to 6 months.

How to Apply (1-Hour Time Limit)

UNESCO’s application portal is strict. Make sure you follow these steps:

1. Preparation: Have your Motivation Letter and CV ready. You only have 60 minutes to complete the form once you start.

2. Language: Use only English or French for your application and documents.

3. Validity: Your application remains active for 6 months. If you aren't contacted within this window, the application is considered unsuccessful.
