Eligibility Criteria

To apply as a New Applicant, you must meet the following criteria:

• Residency: Legal resident of the 50 United States or D.C., or a dependent child of an active-duty U.S. military member.

• Age: Between 16 and 26 years old.

• Education: Currently enrolled in or on track to apply for an accredited post-secondary program (2-year, 4-year, vocational, or trade school).

• Employee Status: Open to both Taco Bell employees and non-employees.

Scholarship Value & Use

• Qualified Expenses: Funds cover tuition, required fees, books, and course-specific supplies.

• Timeline: Funds become available starting Fall 2026.

• Disbursement: Funds are paid directly to the accredited institution on behalf of the student.

Applicants must submit one original response in either a Video (30 seconds to 2 minutes) or an Essay (250–500 words). Your submission must address:

Key Terms for Renewal

• Previous winners can renew up to three times.

• Renewal is not automatic; you must re-apply using an invitation code.
