About the Role
The internship is hosted by UNDP Talent Acquisition and People Programmes (TAPP), part of the Bureau for Management Services, based in Copenhagen. TAPP plays a key role in employer branding, talent acquisition, and young professional programmes across UNDP globally.
As a Communication and Social Media Intern, you will support UNDP Careers platforms and help shape how UNDP attracts global talent.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Communication & Social Media (85%)

Manage daily content on UNDP Careers social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X)

Assist with content planning and social media strategy

Identify and develop staff testimonials and storytelling content

Monitor engagement and analyze performance using KPIs

Support reporting on communication results to external partners
Other Responsibilities (15%)

Conduct research on communication and recruitment best practices

Support ad-hoc activities related to talent acquisition and people programmes
Eligibility & Requirements
Education
Applicants must meet one of the following:

Final year of a Bachelor’s degree

Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree

Graduated within the last 1 year (Master’s or equivalent)
Relevant fields:
Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Political Science, or related disciplines
Skills & Experience

Prior experience with social media management is an asset

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) is an advantage

Strong writing and visual storytelling skills

Ability to analyze social media data and engagement metrics
Language Requirements
