(United Nations (UNDP) Invites Applications for 3 Paid Internship Positions in Bangkok, Thailand

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has opened applications for three internship opportunities in Bangkok, Thailand, under its Governance and Human Rights portfolio. These internships offer young students and recent graduates a chance to work closely with UNDP’s regional teams on rule of law, human rights, digital justice, and responsible business practices across Asia-Pacific.

All positions are full-time internships based in Bangkok with a duration of 6 months and are open to candidates with a strong interest in international development and governance.

1. Communications and Knowledge Management Intern

This role focuses on content creation, digital communications, and knowledge management. Interns will support newsletters, web content, social media outreach, and help organize knowledge repositories, events, and regional workshops related to business and human rights initiatives in Asia.

2. Digital Justice Intern

The Digital Justice Intern will support research and policy work on digital justice and the use of AI in justice systems. Responsibilities include desk research, drafting policy briefs, documenting regional best practices, and supporting knowledge products related to court digitalization, ethical AI, and access to justice.

3. Business and Human Rights Intern

This internship supports the UNDP Business and Human Rights Asia Portfolio. Interns will assist in programme coordination, background research, data collection, and regional activities aimed at promoting responsible business conduct, human rights due diligence, and accountability across Asia-Pacific countries.
