About the Project
The selected candidate will work on the research project titled:
“Enhancement of iron bioavailability through the synergistic effects of soya and millet-based xylo-oligosaccharides fortified non-dairy yogurts.”
The project is funded by CSIR-ASPIRE (Government of India) and focuses on improving nutritional outcomes using innovative, plant-based food systems—an area of growing relevance in public health and food technology research.

Fellowship / Salary

₹37,000 per month (1st & 2nd year)

₹42,000 per month (3rd year, after upgradation to SRF as per CSIR norms)

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold any one of the following degrees with minimum 55% marks:

B.S. (4-year programme)

B.Pharm / MBBS

Integrated BS–MS

M.Sc.

B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent
Additionally:

NET or GATE qualification is mandatory

Candidate should be NET qualified in a Science subject

Must have studied Science at 12th level, and completed B.Sc. & M.Sc.
